For his 28-year experience in the defense and aerospace industry; for his leadership in the design of innovative mechanisms, mechanical devices, technical research, and development work in the aerospace industry and the military; for his patent for Shape Memory Alloy Linear Actuators with the Advanced Space Programs; for his outstanding contributions and performance in providing timely solutions to mechanical problems affecting space shuttle launches; and for being a generous benefactor of the scholarship programs of the UP College of Engineering.
