This year’s celebration carries the invigorating theme “Level Up, Double Up – Engineers Driven for Progress”, signaling a call for greater collaboration, innovation, and impact among UP engineers worldwide.

• 🥉 Bronze: Class of 2010 (15 years)
• 🔟 Tin: Class of 2015 (10 years)

UPAE Awards 2025: Deadline Extended to October 15

As part of the Homecoming festivities, the 2025 UPAE Alumni Engineers Awards will be conferred to exemplary alumni who have made significant contributions in their respective fields.

The UPAE Awards Committee, led by UPAE President Engr. Manfred Guangko, has extended the nomination deadline to October 15, 2025 (Wednesday).

Award categories include:

• Most Distinguished Alumnus/Alumna
• Lifetime Achievement Award
• Professional Degree Awardees (per engineering field)
• National and Global Impact Awards
• Posthumous Award
• Citation of Merit (for excellence in technopreneurship, research, innovation, and development)

UPAE Sundial Award 2025: Innovations for Nation-Building

The UPAE Sundial Award 2025 – An Innovations Competition continues its mission to spotlight scalable engineering solutions by UP alumni that respond to today’s most urgent national and global challenges.

🔔 Submission deadline has been extended to October 17, 2025 (Friday).
📅 Finalists will be announced on October 20, with judging on October 25, and the awarding to take place during the November 16 Homecoming.

💡 Proposed solutions may fall under:
Smart infrastructure, Energy, Water & Sanitation, Health, Agri-tech, Manufacturing, Mobility, Climate Adaptation, and Disaster Risk Reduction.

🏆 Prizes:

• 1st Prize: ₱150,000
• 2nd Prize: ₱75,000
• Finalists: ₱25,000 each
  🎖️ Winners will also receive a custom Sundial Trophy, with opportunities for incubation and funding through UPAE’s partners.
