3rd Edition of the UP Ikot Cup Announced

We eagerly invite UP Engineers to the upcoming 3rd Edition of the UP Ikot Cup Golf Tournament, which will be held at the Forest Hills Golf Club on September 28, 2018.

Previous editions of the UP Ikot Cup have attracted record numbers of participants. This Golf Tournament is spearheaded by the UP Epsilon Chi Fraternity Alumni, Inc. co-hosted by UPAE and the Los BaΕ„os and Diliman alumni of the UP Epsilon Chi Fraternity.

The tournament will be instrumental in bringing together alumni and guests, not only for an enjoyable fellowship in golf, but more importantly to raise support for financially disadvantaged but academically qualified students of the UP College of Engineering. 

P2950 ticket includes Green Fee, lunch, giveaways and raffle prizes.

UP IKOT Cup Format

Compete while Having Fun! Form your own Four-man Team in a four-to-play three-to-count format. Each organization or group of friends can form as many teams as they can. Teams will be classified according to the average handicap of the top 3 players. These teams will then compete for honors in their own divisions for unique Ikot Cup trophies. Tara na! Bumuo na! Ikot na!

Each organization can form as many teams as they want. We will classify each 4-MAN team based on the average handicap index of its 3 lowest handicapped players. Then all the teams in one division will compete using modified stableford based on gross scores with 3 of the top scorers to count. Points will be based as follows:

Double Bogey – 1 pt
Bogey – 2 pts
Par – 3 pts
Birdie – 4 pts
Eagle – 5 pts
Double Eagle / Hole-in-One – 6 pts

The approval of team entries will be based on a first come-first serve basis.
