Date: Saturday, November 7, 2015
Venue: Ang Bahay ng Alumni 6:00 pm

The 2015 Homecoming Committee, under Chair Levy Espiritu, is busy at work, ensuring that Homecoming 2015 will attract alumni of the College of Engineering. In particular, it will give homage to Engineering alumni who have given back to the College and the country through their work in the government, education, and the private sectors.

In addition, it will highlight the UPAE program, Study Now, Pay Later Plan programmed to start in the coming school year. Under this plan, qualified incoming 3rd year College of Engineering students are β€œloaned” 5,000 pesos living allowance a month for ten months in a year for 3 years, until the student graduates. The student is given a maximum of 3 years within which to repay his/her loan, interest-free” over the same time period that this was received.

During the Homecoming, alumni will be given a chance to sponsor students under this scheme. Many are expected to grab this opportunity to be of service and give back to the University and the College that has nurtured them. As usual, the Homecoming will feature giving of Outstanding Alumni Awards from the various engineering disciplines. As usual as well, this event promises to be an exciting and fun-filled venue to reach out and re-connect with friends in college. Save the date!
