UPAE Board Meets with Alumni Organization Heads of the College
During its September 8 Board meeting, the UPAE invited representatives from the various alumni departmental and fraternal organizations of the UP College of Engineering.
Sharing dinner with the Board were: Nestor Encinas (MMMEA); Daniel Peckley Jr (ACES); Edwin Soliman (EEEAA);Β Jaime βBingβ del Rosario (IEAA); Edgardo Tongson (Tau Alpha); Raffy Aguila (EpChi); and Tito Aliga (UPERDFI).
President Lilit Tumbocon gathered feedback on how the UPAE can be of service to the organizations at the same time encouraging them to submit their nominees to the UPAE Distinguished Alumni Award and to the UPAE Board, where 8 seats will be vacated.
He also took the opportunity of briefing the organizations about the latest UPAE program, Study Now, Pay Later and how they can help.
Midway in the meeting, the torrential rains and lightning caused a power failure. Like true engineers, everyone managed with cellphone flashlights. Participants of the meeting may have met in the dark that night, but they definitely were no longer in the dark about the UPAE plans and programs!
