UPAE announced the College of Engineering Alumni Homecoming for 2019 to held:

“With a growing alumni base — now 3 generations, from a much wider range of engineering courses, spread across different parts of the globe — we are actively taking steps to unify our diverse membership,” remarks UPAE VP Internal and 2019 Homecoming Committee Chair Elmir Dela Cruz. “28,000 alumni engineers collectively can have a tremendous impact in our country’s development.”

The College of Engineering comprises 6 Departments and 2 Institutes which together offer 12 Bachelor of Science, 13 Master of Science, and 8 Doctorate programs.

The 2019 homecoming marks the 72nd year that UP alumni engineers gather to recognize individual accomplishments while enjoying fun-filled fellowship. The program which carries the theme “Increasing Engagement and Participation” includes the segments:

• A Roll Call of UP Engineering Alumni Orgs
• Awarding of Distinguished Alumni
• Recognition of UPERDFI Donors
• Election and Oath-Taking of 8 New UPAE Trustees
• Honoring of the Jubilarians (2004, 1994, 1979, 1969,and 1959)

For a very manageable fee of only P1,000, alumni may enjoy a sumptuous buffet spread, overflowing beer, band music and dancing, plus a chance at a big-ticket-items raffle. The fee also entitles one to a copy of the 2019 Ingenium, the alumni yearbook. Not bad!
