The University of the Philippines Alumni Association (UPAA) announced today the choices for this year’s UPAA Distinguished Alumni Awardees.
UPAE has announced that there will be 7 seats to fill up for the term 2015-2016. The election will be held during the Annual Homecoming on November 7, 2015 at the Ang Bahay ng Alumni, UP Diliman.
During its April 2015 Board meeting, the UPAE directors passed a resolution adopting the logo.
Continuing its tradition of building solid foundations for the country’s future engineers and nation-builders, the University of the Philippines Alumni Engineers Association (UPAE) is set to hold its first trimester golf fund raiser to support the students of the UP College of Engineering.

Traditional awards given are the Most Distinguished Alumni Award and the Professional Degree Awards recognising outstanding alumni from every field of engineering. For 2014, Achievement and Naitonal Achievement Awards were also given. The Most Distinguished Alumni Award went to Pedro Dumol, BSME ’55. Other awardees are in the list.
