RAYMUND ARNOLD “RASA” S. ALBERTO, BS GE ’94
At the forefront of Geomatics in the Philippines, Rasa, through his company- RASA Surveying and Realty, has produced high quality and accurate maps instrumental in key infrastructure development projects. This brought forth successful distribution businesses involving high technology surveying equipment, Engineering and Mapping Software, and High Resolution Satellite Imagery.
Rasa served as Centennial President of the Rotary Club of Roces during which his company supported education and health projects. He teaches Geodetic Engineering at UP and FEATI University,
His numerous awards include: Geodetic Engineers of the Philippines Most Outstanding Regional President; Most Outstanding Geodetic Engineer in Private Practice; Outstanding Alumnus of the UP Department of Geodetic Engineering; Outstanding Professional of the Year by the Philippine Regulation Commission; and the yGEP Saludo Award 2014 for his contributions to the First Young Surveyor’s Forum during the 12th South East Asian Congress (SEASC).
He ranked 4th in the GE Board Examinations, passed the licensure examination for Real Estate Brokers and earned units in Remote Sensing and Urban Planning.
