Edwin Alzate, BSCE 1994
Edwin is an independent consultant with broad experience in financial and economic analyses, transportation and infrastructure planning, and project evaluation and monitoring. He has contributed to various feasibility and policy studies in the transport, water, sanitation and energy sectors. He has previously worked with GHD Pty Ltd, the Philippine Export-Import Credit Agency (PhilEXIM), and the National Economic and Development Authority (NEDA).
Edwin holds a Master of Science degree in Urban Infrastructure Engineering and Management (major in transportation planning/engineering) from the International Institute for Infrastructural, Hydraulic and Environmental Engineering (UNESCO-IHE) in Delft, the Netherlands where he was a recipient of a scholarship grant from the Netherlands Fellowship Program. He also completed his Diploma in Environment and Natural Resources Management (DENRM) at the U.P. Open University in Los BaƱos, Laguna. He placed 14th in the May 1995 Civil Engineering Licensure Examination. He is a member of the U.P. Epsilon Chi Fraternity.
