For his major accomplishment with respect to the revision of the undergraduate and MS curriculum of the UP Department of Electrical Engineering during his term as Department Chairman; for his significant role in starting the Computer Science program in the UP College of Engineering; for his management of the mainframe computing facilities of the University as Director of UP’s Computer Center and for its transition to personal computing; and for his project management of the internet connection of the different universities and the set-up of the network infrastructure and fiber optic cabling of all UP campuses.
