Ramby Nolido graduated with a BS Civil Engineering degree in 1988 as a scholar of the UPERDFI. He was the first recipient of the Prof. Doninador Ilio award for most outstanding all-around graduating student in the college.
He started his construction firm R.A. Nolido Construction Corp in 1991 and concurrently started to teach structural design subjects at the UP College of Architecture. His company has had over 200 projects since for both construction and design consultancy. He was also VP if RACA Construction Development Coro., PDP Design Professionals and Win Communities Marketing Corp. In 2005 he became a national director of the Philippine Contrastructors Associatiin (PCA). He became an officer director of the Ateneo Alumni Association in 2007 for 2 terms and its president in 2013. Ever loyal to his student organization UP ACES, he was elected into its alumni association board in 2000 and served as its president from 2008-2015. He now serves as its chairman starting 2019.
His professional role expanded recently having been chosen to be a director of HBI development company and as chairman of the board committee for Facilities and Physical Plant of Ateneo de Manila, in charge of all its construction projects.
Now sitting as a board of Trustee for the UPAE, Ramby hopes to increase participation of engineering alums of the college
