The UP Alumni Engineers held its 1st Trimester Tournament last May 7, at the Southlinks Golf Course in Muntinlupa. A well attended affair, the tournament attracted 51 players, who enjoyed, not only the game but also the camaraderie of old college friends. The winners of the tournament were:  Edwin Arceo with lowest Gross Score; Ernie Hernandez with lowest Net Score; Paolo Olivarez Class A Champion; Bong Tiamsic Class A Runner-up; Mariano Diokno Jr. Class B Champion; Levy Espiritu Class B Runner-up; and John Patrick Olivarez Class C Champion; with Andy Chua Class B Runner-up.

The tournament would have not been possible without the support of the members of the UPAE and generous sponsors. Proceeds of the tournament will go to the “Engineering Heroes Giving Back”  program, which will provide financial assistance to selected students of the College of Engineering.

The 2nd Trimester UPAE Golf Tournament is slated on August 6, at the Camp Gen. Emilio Aguinaldo Golf Course. Registration starts at 6:30am and tee off will be from 6:30am to 8:30am. The proceeds of the tournament will once again be used to assist financially-challenged engineering students.
