Last August 4, Wednesday, a total of 16,000 masks were proudly turned over to UP Diliman. 

The simple ceremony was attended by Trustee Engr. Manfred M. Guangko (rightmost) and UPAE Executive Director Dr. Eric Augustus J. Tingatinga (2nd from the right). The masks were received by the Office of the Chancellor.

The UPAE board expresses its deepest gratitude to the donors that share in the spirit behind the MASK UP Drive. “Sa dami po ng mga Covid-19 cases at mga variants, kailangan pa pong sabayan ang mga vaccines ng conventional protection katulad po ng face masks,” explains Dr. Tingatinga.
