The second UPAE fellowship night for the year was held last October 23, 2015 at the Turf Room of Manila Polo Club. The by-invitation-only event targeted engineering alumni owners and CEOs of companies, regular CoE donors, entrepreneurs, as well as well-known high-net-worth alumni.

Invitees started to troop in at 6 pm and by 7:15 pm, Dante Briones, UPAE VP-External, began his welcome remarks, followed by VP-Internal Levy Espiritu who talked about the Study Now Pay Later program and the philosophy behind. UPAE president Lilit Tumbocon then came on to talk about How You Can Help. Dean Aura Matias talked about improving throughput during her term. She was followed by UPERDFI’s Tito Aliga who talked about UPERDFI’s Faculty Development Program.

Pledge forms prepared by UPAE Executive Director Elise del Rosario were then handed out and the pledging through direct donation and bulk raffle sale started, facilitated by Dante, Lilit, and Levy. Lilit tugged at the attendees’ heartstrings by recalling actual quotes and individual story bites from the first seven SNPL applicants who went through the interview process.

Pledges received that night, some of which already included checks, included:
