All is set for the Alumni Homecoming on November 7,  5:30pm  at the Ang Bahay ng Alumni. Registration starts at 5:00, with invocation followed by dinner at 6:00pm.

Standup comedienne, host, entertainer, singer and actress Giselle Sanchez will take the homecoming alumni through the 3-hour program. In keeping with the Filipiniana theme, the UP Filipiniana Dance Group will perform two numbers. In their Spanish-era costumes, the dancers will be posing with guests as they enter the venue on a red carpet and pose for the paparazzi with the UPAE backdrop. Attendees are encouraged to come in their Filipiniana outfits.

Heroes Giving Back – this is how the affair celebrates all the engineering graduates of UP who, in their own ways have given back to the college, the university, the society and the country. The affair will also recognize outstanding alumni with the UP Alumni Engineers Awards.

UPAE also launches during the event its Study Now Pay Later Program for financially needy engineering students. Funding for this project comes from the golf tournaments undertaken for the year, as well as from the planned 2016 raffle, which gives away a Fortuner and a Honda Jazz in 2016. Alumni also get to elect trustees who will fill in half of the board seats to be vacated. The affair will also see the release of the UP Alumni Engineers Yearbook, the 2015 Ingenium.

There is a lot in store for everyone, especially the first 100 attendees who automatically get a prize upon registration. Door prizes will be drawn during the event. More importantly, this is one big opportunity to link with classmates and share stories. Coming home has never been this fun!
