UPAE Elects 2022 Board of Trustees

Seven Trustees-elect were proclaimed during the 2021 UPAE Annual Alumni Homecoming held last November 20, 2021.

An online ballot was sent to registered active alumni and 145 alumni were able to cast their votes.

‘“We look forward to greater participation from the alumni this year,” says Executive Director Dr. Eric Tingatinga, “lalo na po na 6 out of 8 departments ng College ay may representation sa Board.’

The seven elected trustees will replace 7 outgoing trustees whose 2-year terms ended on December 31st, 2021. Meanwhile, eight other Trustees remain on the board, completing the 15-member UPAE Board of Trustees for 2022. The board is scheduled to assemble on February 18 for oath-taking.

UPDATE: The Board of Trustees took their oaths as UP President Danilo Concepcion led them in a simple ceremony at The Quezon Hall, UP Diliman last Friday, February 18th. In his speech, President Concepcion shared both the rich history of the campus facilities and the ongoing constructions and improvements, highlighting the generosity of the alumni that would be making all of them possible. After the ceremony, the board then assembled at the National Engineering Center to initiate its plans for the coming year.
